Lititz Youth Soccer Club (LYSC) is pleased to announce that Dave Brill has joined the club as Director of Coaching. Dave brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having coached at the scholastic, premier, and local club levels. In these roles he has coached players from under 6 through under 19. He has also has previously served as vice-president and president of a local soccer club. The diversity of Dave’s experience and qualifications will be a tremendous asset for LYSC.
Dave’s coaching philosophy is that every player deserves the right to have fun, to be treated equally, and to have the opportunity to play at their level of skill to allow them to achieve success. Utilizing the game of soccer, Dave plans to provide avenues for players to grow athletically and mentally. Dave sees the overall goal of team sports is to build life lessons for the long term, not just score goals and win games.
Dave is very excited for the opportunity to evolve the current player and coaching development at LYSC. He will focus on building a standardized playing strategy across all levels of play as well as emphasizing coaching development. His goal is to build a “playing identity” for LYSC, which will enhance the play across all levels of competition and age groups.
Please welcome Dave to the club when you see him around, once we all get back on the pitch. We are excited by his involvement with the club and look forward to advancing our player and coaching development.
