   Volunteers Needed for Lititz Youth Soccer Club   
  
  



The Lititz Youth Soccer Club is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of soccer and to developing our children both physically and socially to benefit our community.

There exist several opportunities for you to help our organization serve our community. It is people like you who have stepped up and volunteered their time and effort to make the LYSC the successful organization that it has been and continues to be. There are many facets to the club and maintaining the level of service requires many volunteers.

Listed below are positions with job descriptions which we will need to fill within the organization. Contact us today if you can help out. Please direct any question to Bob Kelly, LYSC President at kellyr@jaygroup.com

   Team Manager   
Total time required = 2-3 hours (mostly at games & practices)
  1. Attend Team Manager meeting (2 per year)
      usually end of March & beginning of September
  2. Assemble and distribute snack schedule if needed
  3. Fundraiser
      Distribute fundraiser information received at managers meeting
      collect, balance + return fundraiser packets to f/r coordinator by assigned time
  4. Pictures
      Distribute picture packets
      Watch LYSC.org website for time
      Confirm + organize players at time & place
  5. EPYSA
      All coaches, managers and parent volunteers are required to register before starting practice. Confirm your coaches have done this.

  6. Uniforms
      Pickup and distribute uniforms
  7. Be a liaison between coaches and parents
  8. Collect money and purchase gift for coaches (if agreed upon by team)

   Team Manager Coordinator   
Total time involved = 4-5 hours per season including meeting
  1. Schedule and attend Team Managers Meeting
      -usually end of March/beginning of April
      and end of August/beginning of September
  2. Receive team rosters from registrar
      -contact all team managers to inform them of meeting date
      -if no manager listed, contact coach and get required info
  3. Organize team manager folder with required information
  4. Assist other key members with preparation just before meeting
  5. Introduce other participants and keep meeting on task
  6. End meeting, lock up
  7. Return Key

   Registrar   
Total time involved = 8 hours per season
  1. Schedule and attend registrations
  2. Establish soccer sessions on registration website
  3. Provide age group coordinators and coaches with access to registration information
  4. Field questions from parents on registration topics
