LYSC is sad to announce that one of their club players has passed away.

LYSC is sad to announce that one of their club players has passed away at the age of 18 due to a car accident. Jaden (JT) Truskey was a freshman at PSU – Abington where he played soccer. He graduated from Ephrata Area High school, class of 2018. He played soccer for LYSC under Coach Gordy Cowher on the LYSC Vulkan Alliance team.

JT was an enthusiastic player who loved practices as much as games. JT was a very talented player who could play anywhere on the field. But he was more than just a great player – he was a great person. He was friendly to everyone, smiled at everyone and treated everyone the way you would want to be treated. He will be missed, but not forgotten – Coach Gordy Cowher

Please consider donating to the Gofundme established to help his family during this very difficult time.
